Mandarin is getting important or not nowadays? I think the Education Minister should tells them the answer. He just visited China recently, he should knows. It has political motive for this issue. We have many things need to pay attention urgently; however our Government prefer to pay attention on Kacang Putih. What a shame. I doubt these people really understand what business is? It's better that employers state it in the job ads than for the applicants to discover that they need to know Mandarin during the interview or worse, on the 1st day at work! Do people complain if an employer ads Bahasa Arab in job vacancies because the person needs to liaise with counterparts in the Arabian countries? No!
