Ever thought of Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, the man who accused Anwar of sodomy, might actually be a victim?
When Anwar was accused in the 90s, I believe he was framed; and despite my dispute over the recent accusation, I still believe that Anwar did not do it.
However, does that mean that we are absolutely sure that Mohd Saiful is not sodomised by Anwar? Is there no chances, not even 1% of chances that Mohd Saiful is telling the truth? I wonder.
Second scenario… let’s assumed Mohd Saiful is indeed a liar; does that mean he is an absolute villain? How about him being forced to be part of this? What if his (or his family) safety is in jeopardy? What if he had to make a choice between life or death? He can’t hide into Turkey Embassy obviously… so, what option does he have?
The meaningless photos
His photos taken with various BN officials are widespread in the net, with claims that he is closely allied to the BN government… but does those photos really mean anything?
I have had pictures taken with Rafidah Aziz, I even had a lunch with her; I also have pictures taken with Raja Nazrin (Perak’s crown prince), Lim Keng Aik, Fong Chan Onn and also pictures with no less than two (ex) MPs that served my places.
So, does that mean that I am close to these peeps? Not at all… I have better chance of winning a lottery than having them remembering my name. The photos simply means that I had the chance to meet these people… and being an active student during high school and university provided lots of chances to meet these peeps… it’s no big deal at all.
Same situation might apply to Modh Saiful too; does those photos provide any insight that he is working closely with BN government? Think Malaysians, think.
this saiful is a young man, and from those pics he look quite strong. anwar however is old already, if saiful didn’t want to have sex with anwar, how is it possible for anwar to force himself on him?? and the report claims that anwar did it twice if i remember correctly??
what is the motive behind saiful’s report is unknown. now there are gossips that saiful is actually working for anwar and pkr to trap barisan, but this sound a bit outrageous from my point of view. i don’t think financial rewards would be tempting enough to have a young man admitting being sodomized by an important politician.. anwar couldn’t buy him, and i don’t think bn can buy him with money.
that left the most possible option, that saiful is being forced to lodge the report by certain parties. question is, who? barisan government? chief inspector? attorney general? anwar? so so confusing now.

Have you ever be a victim of rape/sodomy by a boss who is a high-profile before? If it happens to you, don’t you think it is unbelievable and your mind would be too blur to think rationally. Don’t you think someone with power and money could threat you and your family if you choose to fight and manage to escape?
Have you ever thought that if you are nobody who has been sodomized by someone who are very popular as a justice fighter, who has been released from the sodomy charges before, and most rakyat support him, then if you going public and made a report, do you think the rakyat would believe in you?
This is the dilemma of the victim who has been rape or sodomised by someone who they know personally and by someone who has most support from society. That’s why there are so many victims choose not to report to the police.

Jamila… what proof do you have about Najib and Rosmah being corrupted? What proof do you have that Saiful is absolutely guilty? What proof do you have that Anwar is totally innocent?
How do you know that Rosmah is corrupted? Have you seen the proof or just listen from stories and read from various sources? Where have you been to justify what you claimed?
I am not a fan of Najib, I am not a fan of Umno, and I believe that they are corrupted too; but does that mean Badawi and Najib have not done anything right at all? We need to see things cases by cases… even the likes of Anwar or whoever you support must have done something wrong too.
No one is god, there is no absolute certainty in life. Don’t let your emotions control your brain, and don’t simply listen and believe in things without giving it a second thought. Think Jamila, think.
My personal view
1. Anwar is a gay
2. Mahatir knew but no proof - so evidence is fabricated to frame him
3. Anwar is found guilty by badly framed up charges - time is wrong, place is wrong, but the Kangaroo court found him guilty anyway
4. Acquitted by Appeal Court by 2-1 decision, two of the judges that found him not guilty are being just appointed by Abdullah (Karpal Singh has objected to these two judges initially and asked for for senior judges to hear the case)
5. Now the argument is that since Anwar is being acquitted - it means he is not gay? and that charges are being frame and no true? Rather it is another political decision that free Anwar from the previous conviction
6. Now is it possible that Anwar and Saiful have consentual sex - and later Saiful, under the influence or not , lodge the report (that’s explain how a 61yrs old man with spinal problem sodomise 23yrs physical well built man)
7. That’s why Anwar tell Kit Siang “expecting the worst”
8. If Saiful can prove that there are instances that Anwar and Saiful are alone together, it will be Anwar words against Saiful word, and with the govt controlling the judiciary, he can be found guilty. That’s maybe the reason Anwar refuse to answer NST reporter’s question whether Saiful & he ever travel oversea together

As for Abdullah - he must be regretted in letting Anwar acquitted.
We don’t know who is the guilty party or if the sodomy allegation is true. But, I agree that Saiful is a victim in a way as many Malaysians have already judged him.
Anwar also has to come clean + answer some pertinent questions, what he did at the condo. He has even refused to answer query of whether Saiful has accompanied him on overseas trips. Further, I find the sms transcript of Anwar’s reply to Saiful on the latter’s resignation from his post as private assistant almost ‘weird’

This is probably malaysian politics at its dirtiest and sleazeast. I suppose the best response the rakyat can give to this is to lift up a hand and say “Whatever!!”. These politicians are putting on a show cause they know people are watching. Quit watching and the show will have to stop. We shouldn’t care who had sex with whom, or who blew whom up. All we need to care about is our daily lives, working, living, hanging out with friends and such. If we pay any attention to all of this drama, no matter which side wins, the rakyat will end up losing. Let’s all agree to stay out of this fray and stop buying newspapers that report on this on their front page.

The statement by the family of Mohd Saiful link above bear some earmarks of possible untruths and create more questions than it answers.
I am sure many of you may have similar questions youselves after reading the news report.
This reminds me , many years ago when my older boy was 2 years old,
he tripped my CD tower and it came crashing down to the floor, when I got there, he planted his stuffed toy near the carnage and said “teddy did it” with innocent eyes and expected me to believe it.
I see denials from the government of the day and their apologists to sometimes have as much sophistication as “teddy bear” denials.
Now back to the statement by Saifuls family ( which to me sounds like a poorly written script ) :-

and when the DPM was pressed as to providing police protection for Anwar, the best he could commit is “I leave it to the police to decide”.
