Petrol price hike is something that cannot be confirmed until the day it should be, or else the whole supply chain could break down because of the rush... announcing it just hours before the hike is the right thing to do. The ministers don't have much choice (to keep the secret), but they can always choose to say "no comment" instead of saying anything to deny that... obviously they chose the denial that could backfire at themselves. anon#6… rumours in Malaysia are not always true, just that most people are focusing on those that became true and forgot those that were not.

Well, no harm filling your tank though... being kiasu is not a crime, and kiasuness won this round of 'battle' obviously.
