The federal government has not been doing enough for Sabah? That’s probably true… but what have all the Sabahan politicians done all these years? Are the indegenious Sabahan politicians any better off than the peninsula’s politicians? I wonder.
The poor and chaotic situations in Sabah are collective ‘efforts’ for both the federal and state governments for more than three decades.
The illegal immigration issue in Sabah is widespread, it’s a shame that the government are not doing much to coup with this… but is it fair for Badawi and Umno to shoulder all the blames? What were the likes of Yong Teck Lee doing all these years (including his Chief Minister terms) to deal with this issue?
Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang, Nik Aziz, and all the Kadazan-Dusun chieftains… what have they done for the past decade or two for the Sabahans? Nik Aziz never care, LKS only knows how to complain, and Anwar only started to care because he can become a PM. All these people (including some Sabahan leaders) are just as idiotic as everyone else when it comes to issues in Sabah, none of them are any better than Badawi when it comes to social welfare for Sabahans.
If the federal government is not doing well enough to help the state, by all means kick their ass… the only question is, why wait until now? The ass should have been kicked long time ago. So, if the BN government had won big again this term, SAPP and YTL would still remain silent and enjoy their honeymoon isn’t it?
Don’t just blame it on the federal leaders my fellow Malaysians, have a look at your local politicians as well. And if you think Badawi is idiot, think what Mahathir, Anwar and the local leaders had done for you.
the real power is with the federal government, that is why. how can the state government do things without the help of the federal govn. as long as the pm doesnt agree, even tun mamak cant do anything. and when whoever wants to challenge the pm, there got sacked or jailed, yes this is the malaysia political system, untill pakatan came and everybody knows there is hope.
There were never short of hopes… for the past few decades Sabahans had been hoping for the better, but were probably disappointed everytime. When Badawi first became Prime Minister, there were high hopes too… but it stumbled. Anwar provides some new hope, but can he deliver?
There is so many materialistic YB and minister from BN Sabah. Everyone of them are promised with project, position in BN. Where dont need UMNO in Sabah. No MALAY here. As Kadazan, they never call theirself as Malay. Bajau, they also never says they are Malays, and even Bisaya, Dusun, Suluk, Idaan, Kedayan. None of them called them self as Malay. And this Idea of Malay from UMNO is not an idea to give Sabah a good governance and it only a reason to com in and steal everything in Sabah. Including the CM in Sabah now as the Sabah Umno President, he arent Malay. He isnt from the major race in Sabah. So that, he himself is working for himself and gathering all the gold in Sabah for himself and his family sake.
We dont need any UMNO here, and most of our YB is just materialistic. There are happy to let their people without knowledge, so that they will lead till the end of the world.
Its not about politics, its all about greedy.
If people say Kelantan is Kubu Kuat Pas, and Sabah is KUBU KUAT BN. That is wrong, Sabah isnt kubu kuat. Sabah is just a place where so many PATI (illegal immigrant) who is given IC by the Federal Government and keep their power over Sabah.Sabah is the worst state you will ever say in infrastructure and even the economy but Sabah is the largest land with Palm Oil Plantation which is Musa Aman (Sabah CM) were so happy with and collecting the Gold as i said before for him, his family and his stomach.

What happen to Sabah is the representative of what were happenings to other states in Malaysia. The question of corruption is a much debatable topic not only today but since yesteryears. It is really ideal to have ZERO corruption, ZERO nepotism and ZERO cronism.
I still remember the words of a Chinese premier when he took power in China. During his speech he called the state to arrange for 100 coffins. Everybody was puzzled why the coffin for? He said I will shoot my 99 ministers if they were corrupted and 1 coffin is left for me and please shoot me if I were to be corrupted. And yet there still corruption in China.
Are we really corrupted? Who are we referring to? Combats against corruption on government servant from Secretary General of the public offices to an office boy is really a commendable efforts by the government. The arrest of Ketua Pengarah Imigresen Malaysia is a testimony to this. However, what about those who are really in power? The pick and choose method is believed to be the modus operandi.
In Malaysia, even during the leadership of Mahathir, there were efforts to zerorize corruption and now under the leadership of Abdullah BPR is made an independent body.Efforts to zerorize corruption continue. What is saddening is that corruptions are combated randomly and some with the views that corruption cases were selected on those who oppose the leadership and it seems that the corruption practices are pardonable for those who give undivided support for the leadership.
In practice, corruption can only be eradicated, if the people on the public office are having the following criteria:
1. Fear God. It is a sin to receive and give corruption and those involved will be guilty in the present life and hereafter
2. Installation of good internal control and eradicate greed from ones dirty heart.
3. Remember by doing the corrupt practice, we are in fact denying other people of their rights.
I sincerely think, it is not something impossible to eradicate corruption. But it needs not only the government efforts and sincerity but also the commitments of responsible Malaysian to see that this kind of practice is REALLY A BIG SIN!!!
