I’m a fan. For me she’s probably THE biggest Asian fashion icon for the past 15 years… dyed hair, trimmed eyebrows, boots etc… she probably didn’t start the trend, but she certainly played a huge part popularising these across Asia Pacific.
for me its ayumi hamasaki the biggest japanese fashion icon.
Ayu is quite an icon too, love her style when she first became popular about a decade ago lol. Still, imo Ayu is a continuation of what Namie has started at the first place.
