You don’t hear this often. A ramen (noodle) shop in Tokyo is closing its doors, at least temporarily, because of its overwhelming popularity.
Customers line up for hours to eat the noodles at the Shinagawa based Rokurinsha [Jp] restaurant, but the long queue is causing problem for the neighbourhood, i.e.customers blocking the traffic, smoking on the street and talking loudly etc.
The shop has tried to look for solutions after receiving repeated complaints from the neighbours but to no avail, and finally decided to close its current shop by end of August and look for a more suitable location.
