Japanese schoolboy Ryo Ishikawa has became the youngest ever person to win a professional golf tournament.
The 15-year-old earned the red winner’s jacket of Japan’s Munsingwear Open KSB Cup on Sunday in his first ever participation in a professional competition.
Ishikawa sets a new world record as the youngest golfer to win a tournament, previously held by Spanish golfing legend Severiano Ballesteros, who won the 1977 Japan Open at 20 years and seven months.
