Korean pop group SeeYa has released a farewell album, See You Again, which consists of two new tracks and 13 of their previous hits. The group will be officially disbanded after the end of the album’s promotional activities.
SeeYa made their debut as a trio in 2006 and won wide plaudits for their powerful vocals. Unfortunately it’s not their era to be, as K-pop is more about hypes and packaging these days; and the group fell behind to other girl groups which emerged in 2007, e.g. Kara, Wonder Girls and SNSD in terms of popularity.
One of the original members, Nam Gyuri, left SeeYa in 2009. The group made their comeback with a replacement, but things were not getting any better, and disbandment seems inevitable. Nam is back with the other two original members, Kim Yeon-ji and Lee Boram, for this farewell album. Below is the MV for presumably one of the new songs, So Nice To Meet You, and a few more pics…
