Girls’ Generation is one of South Korea’s top female pop groups. The nine-members girls group are often referred to as SNSD by international fans, acronym for their Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae (소녀시대, or So Nyuh Shi Dae).
The nine members are Yuri, Yoona, Tiffany, Taeyeon (leader), Sunny, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Jessica, and Hyoyeon [check their individual profiles]
The girls made their official debut in August 2007 with single Into the New World. Most of the members have been involved in some projects prior to their group debut though, e.g. in magazine ads, TV commercials and music videos etc.
SNSD released their first self-title album in November 2007 (re-released as Baby Baby in March 2008). The title track received mixed reviews, but its second track Kissing You became a hit on various music charts in early 2008. The albums sold over 100,000 copies by April, an impressive number in Korean music market.
SNSD were involved in various projects in 2008, including a reality show Factory Girl where the girls were working as interns for Elle (Korean) magazine. A few of them also worked on solo in other fields, e.g. radio jockies and TV hosts; with Yoona notably successful with her acting career.
The girls were back in early 2009 with mini-album Gee; the title song was a huge hit, topping various musical charts and breaking various consecutive #1 records. They released their 2nd mini-album, Tell Me Your Wish in June 2009, with a much talk-about marine girls theme. The album becomes a huge success as well.
The girls are also popular product ambassadors, appearing in various commercials, e.g. for Viliv, Nexon, Elite, Goobne, Binggrae, Cyon, Miero etc.

Okay this is the truth about SNSD. I went on a backstage pass in Korea and saw them in real life. This is their ‘real’ identity.
1. Yoona
she is pretty and pure..but too skinny with NO body.. her boobs are even big enough. She doesn’t seem that pretty now, with short hair.
2. Tiffany
She is a bitchy girl, though she sings well and is cool. Her NOSE is so fake, if you look closely. If she use to be REALLY popular, how come she always dances at the BACK of SNSD?
3. Yuri
She ain’t that pretty in rl. She has a good body and tan. She stands out the most in ‘chocolate love’ . She’s always the one who’s jealous of others.
4. TaeYeon
She’s pretty and mature. But her eyes don’t look quite nice. She’s really korean. HER voice is great but not the best. SO SHORT.
5. Jessica
A really bitchy girl. She thinks of herself as someone really good. She looks bitchy and IS bitchy. But. her voice is good and she is skinny.
6. Sooyoung
Her nose looks dimented. why ? surgery. She’s really tall..but not that pretty. Her nose really irritates me.
7. Seohyun
Innocent, young and pure. However, the bags under her eyes are fuckin ugly and her ears are just.. weird.
8. Hyoyeon
known as dancing queen in SNSD. but you know what ? she’s the bitchiest. just look at her. She’s fat and ugly. She sshould go to WG not SNSD. she doesn’t even look pure or gentle/cute. Her dance is good..but not SO good. She bitches a lot behind snsd member’s backs. you go youtube it.
9. Sunny
very cute and innocent. her voice is amazing. her hair fringe is mad. but, she acts too cute sometimes. Not very noticable in SNSD.
I LOVE SNSD. BUT. they have so many weaknesses. so don’t cry over your ugly self jus for them. They’re pretty, but its all makeup and surgery.

i love snsd!! I don’t really care if they had plastic surgery,their voice is so good and their songs is awesome!! Snsd is not the only girls group or artist that had plastic surgery and use botox,so what? No one is perfect,at least their heart is pure,mind your own bussines!! Snsd,aja aja hwaiting!!
