Thierry Henry – Top 10 Premier League Goals

Arsenal FC have released a video of their top ten English Premier League goals from club legend Thierry Henry in the wake of his retirement as a professional player.

Henry played for Monaco, Juventus, Barcelona, New York Red Bulls and spent eight years at Arsenal where he is the club’s all-time record goalscorer. He’s also record goalscorer for France and played a part in their 1998 World Cup triumph.

One of my favourite football players, he’s not only good but oozed elegant on the field, and he scored some really amazing and memorable goals.

Love Japan by David Parkinson

Cool video by Australian filmmaker David Parkinson as he travelled through the heart of Japan with his girlfriend. Beautiful piece with top notch cinematography. Locations include Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nara, Tokyo, Nagano and Hokkaido.

There’s Nothing Like Australia

Cool Australia tourism video, made in 2012 and still shown around the world (slightly modified) in 2014. The song was an original piece created by Dewayne Everettsmith & Jasmine Beams. [Update] Added a second video, a three minute version which showcases the country’s attractions in details.

Kirin cool miniature kitchen commercial

Cool commercial by Japanese beverage company Kirin [Jp] – a stop motion animation featuring a miniature kitchen in a plastic bottle.

The message is that its product (the Salt&Litchi drink) is made with “mother’s knowledge” and “Kirin’s touch”.

World Order – Have A Nice Day (in Akiba)

Japanese music video for Have A Nice Day by techno-pop group World Order. Decent song, interesting choreography and video concept.

The MV featured many elements of Tokyo’s Akihabara Electric Town, e.g. cosplay, specialist stores, maid cafe, anime, arcades, and girl group AKB48 etc.

World Order was formed in 2009 by Genki Sudo, a retired mix-martial artist and kickboxer, who also wrote most (if not all) of the group’s songs.
