SNSD Into The New World encore

Korean pop group SNSD performing their old debut song Into The New World at SBS Idol Bigshow, a special gig over the weekend to celebrate Chuseok…

The nine girls released their first single in August 2007; and despite various controversies (for example), they rose to fame gradually and became one of the top female pop groups at the moment.

Golden Bell Awards 2008

The 43rd Golden Bell Awards were presented in Taipei on Friday (Oct 31); Golden Bell is Taiwan’s most prestigious radio and television broadcasting awards.

“Fated to Love You” won the best drama series as expected; Ariel Lin was crowned the best actress (in drama series) with “They Kiss Again”; while Jacky Wu and A-Ya claimed the best variety show hosts award with “Guess Guess Guess”.

Other winners are relatively unknown; couldn’t recognise most of the names to be frank. Sharing a few red carpet pics (from Sohu) instead…

Filipino sensation Charice on Star King Korea

Videos of Filipino teenage sensation Charice Pempengco’s appearances at popular Korean variety show Star King in 2007.

Her performances which were uploaded on Youtube has help her getting notice in the US; she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in December 2007, and is poised to make a few more appearances in the states.

The earlier videos had been deleted unfortunately; these are some re-uploads by hannon09housho@Youtube, which include duet performances with Korean singers Kyuhyun from Super Junior, and also with Lena Park.
