American actress Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley have adopted a 10-month-old special needs baby girl from South Korea earlier this month.
They named their daughter Nancy Leigh, nicknamed Naleigh, after Katherine’s mother Nancy and sister Margaret Leigh. The couple released their first family photo via Katherine’s animal-rescue foundation…
Katherine’s sister is an adopted Korean; and Katherine has always wanted to follow her parents’ path.
The adoption process was sped up because of Naleigh’s health condition; she had to undergo a heart operation two months after she was born and probably needs some extra care, which her new found parents should be able to provide.
Chinese starlet Isabella Leong gave birth to a baby boy on April 26 in Toronto, Canada.
Isabella, 21, and HKG billionaire Richard Li, 42, started their relationship in March 2008. There were rumours in early 2009 that the actress was pregnant, but nobody took it seriously.
Come to think of it… it’s probably the main reason why her ex-agency EEG had softened over their contract dispute; the company must have realised about the fact (probably told by Richard) and was made to reach the settlement deal in November 2008.
The baby’s name is Ethan Li Changzhi (loose translation). Best wishes.

Congratulations to American-Japanese star Leah Dizon, who gave birth to a healthy baby daughter on April 24th in Tokyo. The 22-year-old idol got married to a Japanese stylist in a shotgun wedding last October.

Korean celebrity couple Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young welcome a new member in their family following the birth of their baby boy on February 6th. The baby is the couple’s first offspring; they tied the knots in a shotgun wedding last September.

Japanese actress Ryoko Shinohara was just in time to celebrate mother’s day after giving birth to a baby boy on Saturday (May 10).
Ryoko, 35, is one of Japan’s most popular actresses and commercial models. She is married to 59-year-old artist Masachika Ichimura in December 2005; this is the couple’s first child.
