Chinese actress Isabella Leong, with husband and babyChinese starlet Isabella Leong gave birth to a baby boy on April 26 in Toronto, Canada.

Isabella, 21, and HKG billionaire Richard Li, 42, started their relationship in March 2008. There were rumours in early 2009 that the actress was pregnant, but nobody took it seriously.

Come to think of it… it’s probably the main reason why her ex-agency EEG had softened over their contract dispute; the company must have realised about the fact (probably told by Richard) and was made to reach the settlement deal in November 2008.

The baby’s name is Ethan Li Changzhi (loose translation). Best wishes.

Hong Kong singer Jill VidalHong Kong based artist Jill Vidal has been officially charged by Japanese authorities under some illegal drug acts; the first court hearing will be on April 24th.

Jill and rumoured singer-boyfriend Kelvin Kwan (later released) were arrested in Tokyo on Feb 24 for marijuana possession; the cops later found more illegal drugs, believe to be heroin, from Jill’s hotel luggage.

It’s still uncertain if Jill would be charged for drug possession or drug smuggling; the earlier is likely to get her a parole (or max one year jail term), but the later could send her into jail for a much longer period.

Btw, it’s Jill’s 27th birthday tomorrow (Apr 13); obviously won’t be a happy one.

[Update] The verdict is out – Jill is set on parole for three years, which means if she doesn’t need to serve her two-years jail term if she doesn’t do anything really stupid in the three-years period.
