Things often go beyond right or wrong in a war imo. I couldn’t see how desecration of corpses are any worse than taking one’s life to begin with; war is never pretty. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s appalling, but I find it ironic that most critics don’t give much damn about the number of casualties but all hyped about this act instead.

It’s unfortunate for the US troopers who risked (and many who lost) their lives on foreign soil only to have their reputation tainted by a few rotten apples. Incident like this is perfect propagandist material which could undo many other efforts.
