Popular Korean actor Joo Ji-hoon was busted for drug abuse. The 27-year-old has been put on a non-restraint order for receiving drugs from lesser-known actress Yoon Seol-hee and model Ye Hak-young… more on Dramabeans and Kbites

It’s not the end of the story; there are another seven or eight celebs being mentioned by the supplier, and the duo are probably not the only celebrity drug dealers in Korea. Guess the Pandora Box is opened now… and it ain’t pretty.

[update] Joo Ji-hoon received a suspended sentence of six months jail term and a year of probation plus 120 hours of community service; meaning… he won’t need to go to jail if he behaves properly during the period.

Yoon Seol-hee was sentenced to three-years of jail; while Ye Hak-young got a suspended sentence for his two and a half years jail term [via Dramabeans]

Pusan International Film Festival 2008 – opening (1)

Korea’s 13th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) opened last Thursday (Oct 2) and will run until October 10. The opening ceremony of the event was marred by the suicide news of Choi Jin-shil that early morning, but the show must go on.

Joo Ji-hoon and his Antique gang

Magazine scan of upcoming Korean movie “Antique”, directed by Min Gyu-dong and starring Korean heartthrobs Joo Ji-hoon, Kim Jae-wook, Choi Ji-ho and Yoo Ah-in etc.

The movie is adapted from popular Japanese manga “Antique Bakery” by Fumi Yoshinaga, which is about the life four men working in a small bakery.

Joo Ji-hoon is starring as the bakery owner and a genius salesman, Kim Jae-wook a talented patissier, Choi Ji-ho as JJH’s bodyguard, and Yoo Ah-in a boxer turn assistant pattissier.
