Invincible Korean movie trailer
Korean movie trailer for Invincible (무적자), starring Song Seung-hun, Joo Jin-mo, Kim Kang-woo and Jo Han-sun. The action thriller is a remake of Hong Kong blockbuster A Better Tomorrow, directed by John Woo in 1986.
The plot is about a former gang leader who wants to start a new life after serving his jail time; but things got complicated with his brother who works as a cop; a sidekick who remains loyal; and the current gang leader who murdered his father.
Besides the box office success, the original film – starring Chow Yun-Fat, Ti Lung and Leslie Cheung – has a huge cultural impact over Hong Kong film industry for the next decade or two. It’s going to be a tough task to emulate its legacy, but commercial wise the Korean remake might do well with its decent cast.
