STEP is KARA’s first original Korean album/single since Lupin in February 2010. The group’s Korean activity was halted for quite a while because of their (now resolved) contract dispute; they did well in Japan during the period though.
Korean girl group KARA member Goo Hara is dating boy band BEAST’s Yong Jun-hyung.
The couple’s respective agencies have released statements acknowledging the relationship on June 28, and asked for privacy for the young lovebirds who started dating just a couple of months ago.
Their relationship was made public earlier this month by Dispatch, a Korean paper, but the couple and their agencies stayed muted to the “rumour” back then.
Coming from two hugely popular idol groups, this relationship surprisingly didn’t suffer much backslash. Definitely a welcome thing, that the fans are getting more mature.
Teaser pics for Korean drama City Hunter, starring heartthrob Lee Min-ho, actress Park Min-young, and also Koo Hara from pop group KARA. The drama, “adapted” from a same title Japanese manga, is airing its premier episode on SBS channel this Wednesday.
KARA became the first Korean girl group to top the authoritative Japanese Oricon single-album weekly sales chart with their latest single Jet Coaster Love, which sold over 120,000 copies in its debut week. The girls will donate their profit from this single-album to help the TÅhoku earthquake relieve effort.
