Korean pop star Lee Hyori has started promoting “Hey Mr Big”, her second track from her latest album “It’s Hyorish”. Her first track “U-Go-Girl” was quite successful, topping most of the charts for a couple of weeks before being kicked off by competitors, particularly by Big Bang’s “Haru Haru”.

“On Air” (온에어) is a Korean drama about TV drama production… behind the scenes, the challenges, struggles, teamwork, scandals and relationships.
The drama is directed by Shin Woo-chul and written by Kim Eun-suk, the team behind popular dramas “Lovers in Paris” and “Lovers in Prague” etc. Leading the cast are Lee Beom-soo, Kim Ha-neul, Park Yong-ha and Song Yun-ah.
Korean drama If In Love, Like Them, starring Lee Hyori, Lee Dong-gun and Jung Joon-ho, is suspended indefinitely by Korea’s Broadcasting Committee for violation of broadcasting guidelines.
The drama and producers are penalised for inappropriate frequency of product placement and overused of Hyori’s songs as soundtrack.
The drama will not be allowed to rebroadcast in Korea, and the show (producers) are required to make a public apology.
The drama, also titled Perhaps Love, is about two cancer patients who met each other in hospital and developed a relationship.
Despite the ban in its homeland, the drama is expected to recoup some of its investments with the strong marketability of the main cast in foreign countries.
