Thean Hou Temple in Kuala Lumpur is one of the largest Chinese temples in Malaysia. Dedicated to Goddess Tian Hou (Heavenly Empress), the temple was opened in late 80s and has became a popular tourist destination known for its beautiful architecture as well as numerous cultural and festivity events.

Lunch at Kin Shui Tei Japanese Restaurant at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort last Sunday. First heard about the restaurant from my ex Japanese boss years ago, who recommended the place for its authentic Japanese cuisine…

Filipino Market is a popular tourist destination in the city of Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. Formally known as Kota Kinabalu Handicraft Centre, it’s a bargain place for traditional arts and crafts, as well as souvenirs like T-shirts, key-chains etc.

Klias Wetland is a mangrove forest reserve in Sabah, famous for being the habitat of the endangered proboscis monkey (known for its big, long nose) that is endemic to the Borneo Island in South East Asia.

Klias Wetland was the first destination during our Kinabalu trip in March 2009; it was my second visit to the place (first in 2006). Sharing some photos below…
