Rain is starring as a deadly assassin who was kidnapped and trained to be a killing machine since he was a kid, but later begun to question the organisation’s agenda and joined forces with an Interpol agent (starring Naomie Harris) to fight against the organisation. The movie is set to premier in June 2009.

Liu Xiang quits

World and Olympic champion Liu Xiang has withdrew from the 110m hurdle event following a right foot injury.

Liu’s appearance was in doubt when it was reported last weekend that he was suffering from a sore Achilles tendon, but he showed up for the qualifying heat anyway.

The 90,000 crowd at the Beijing National Stadium didn’t manage to catch Liu Xiang in real action though, as he quit after a false start (by another hurdler), limping out of the race track into the tunnel. The Chinese are generally disappointed, but showing plenty of support for the iconic athlete.

Liu Xiang was China’s best (and probably the only) hope for a gold medal at the track and field event.

The movie managed to haul in USD20.9 million in ticket sales (according to studio estimates) from Friday to Sunday in US and Canadian theaters.

Rob is taking part in a new campaign by the Federation of Organic Milk Groups (FOMG) to ensure maximum levels of well-being in every pint of milk… by practicing the traditional Chinese martial art of Tai Chi.

Rob says… “We’ve noticed a close link between our own mood and the mood of the herd. By practising these moves, we feel calmer and happier and we think the cows are noticeably happier too. And if the cows are happy, healthy and relaxed they produce wholesome milk.” [Taverner's Farm]

I’m not sure if the Tai Chi would make the cows happier, but I know I am after reading this news. Besides, I bet these farmers will have healthier bodies after all the Tai Chi practice.
