Israeli soldiers in trouble dancing to Ke$ha Tik Tok

A clip which saw six Israeli soldiers doing a coordinated dance at the streets of Hebron to American singer Ke$ha’s hit song Tik Tok has gone viral online…

It’s no big deal for soldiers to enjoy a bit of fun, but it’s a problem when they were doing so at the wrong place and wrong time.

The original video on Youtube was taken down but it was too late as it’s already picked up by other channels. The soldiers have been identified and is facing investigations and possibly disciplinary actions; but some reports have suggested that the battalion commander has ‘taken care’ of the matter.

Taiwan armed force use Transformers for recruitment

Check this out, Transfomers lookalike TV commercial by Taiwan’s Recruitment Center of National Armed Force. Thought that it was a prank at first, but it’s real; and the video could be found from its official website [Cn]…

A pretty cool commercial; though I suspect the recruitment drive would fare better if they featured Megan Fox instead lol.

China’s pinkish female militia at military parade

The People’s Republic of China has wowed global folks with a female militia unit in magenta-miniskirt-uniform at the nation’s 60th anniversary military parade…

The soldiers have became the talk of the town since the parade. Individually the ladies might not be the prettiest women you’ve seen, but they look charming when marching as a unit. It’s a great PR stunt regardless.

Cixingtan, Taiwan

Cisingtan (literally ‘Seven Star Lake’ in Chinese) is a beautiful coastline near the city of Hualian in eastern Taiwan. It got its name from the seven swamps that were scattered like fallen stars throughout the wetland that once covered the area.

What remained these days is just a nice beach with a lovely sea view.
