Everything looks/sounds more westernised than ever. Not my cup of tea, but Wonder Girls probably have better chance to make it in the US with this genre. I’ve always felt that it’s pointless though, for K-pop artists to make it big in the west by adapting too much to western pop while bringing nothing new. Perhaps I’m expecting too much.

School Gyrls – Something Like A Party music video

Music video of Something Like A Party by American teenage pop trio School Gyrls – consists of members Amanda Mosley, Jacque Pyles and Filipino-American Monica Parales. The ladies are getting some attention in Korea following their opening act for K-pop groups Wonder Girls and 2PM in their recent US concert.

Something Like A Party is the debut single of School Gyrls, released in February 2010. It’s also the first track of the girls’ self-titled debut album which was released in March.
