Korean actor So Ji-sup was at a promotional event at Millennium Seoul Hilton hotel to promote Sony Alpha DSLR cameras as the product spokesperson.
I am using one of the Alpha models… mine is A350 while the one SJS was holding should be the high-end A900, which is probably 4-5 times more expensive than mine.
So Ji-sup is publicly known as a photography enthusiast; he often shared his photo-work on his website, but registration is required to check the photos.
Korean pop star BoA and her agency SM Entertainment held the Best of Asia, Bring on America press conference at Seoul Imperial Palace Hotel on September 10 to officially announce her US debut.
BoA will first release her music video for “Eat You Up” (teaser below) on October 7 before releasing it as a digital single a week later. She will then release her single album on November 11 and is scheduled for a full album in early 2009.
The 2nd Chungmuro International Film Festival (CHIFFS) opens in Seoul on Wednesday (Sept 3) with A-list Korean stars and celebrities gracing the red carpet and opening ceremony.

Tens of thousands of Buddhists packed the plaza in front of Seoul City Hall on Wednesday (Aug 27) to protest the alleged religious favouritism of President Lee Myung-bak and his administration.
The rally was organised by Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, the largest Buddhist group in South Korea. The police estimated that 55,000-60,000 people took part in the rally, including thousands of monks.

Sun Nan & Zhang Hui Mei - Forever Friends
“Forever Friends” (永远的朋友), composed by Italian composer Giorgio Moroder and Chinese pianist Kong Xiangdong. The English lyrics are helped by Michael Kunze, while Chinese lyrics by Huang Xiaosheng.
This is my favourite candidate for the official theme song. Moroder, having wrote the popular “Hand in Hand” (theme song for Seoul Olympics 1988), certainly understand what makes a good theme song. It might not be the nicest song among all, but I think it’s the best that fits the occasion.
