A Transfomers lookalike TV commercial by Taiwan’s Recruitment Center of National Armed Force. Thought that it was a prank at first glance, but it’s real, and the video could be found from its official website [Cn]…

I think the recruitment would fare better if they feature Megan Fox instead lol.

Music video of “I Love You”, an English song by Taiwanese singer Joanna Wang from her debut album “Start From Here”, released in early 2008. It’s a cover of David Tao’s mandarin song, “Love is Simple”…

Joanna’s unique voice has been a revolution to Chinese music market; the album was quite a hit and if not mistaken, among the top five best selling albums of the year in both Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Despite the success, the singer has in a few occasions mentioned that she’s not a fan of the album, because it was not showing her true self.

Her subsequent album, “Joanna & Wang Ruo Lin”, which was released in January 2009 is supposedly showing more of her capability not just as a singer, but also a songwriter with her own ideas; will share something about in future.

Mandarin music video, “Meaning of Travel” by Taiwanese artist Cheer Chen from her “Peripeteia” album in 2005. Some of the scenes were filmed in Okinawa, Japan…

The song is about a fading relationship; the girl was wondering what’s the purpose of her boyfriend’s frequent travel, only to one day realised that it’s because he wanted to leave her but unsure of breaking up officially.

Taiwanese singer Huang Yan Lin, popular known as Ah-Sang (or Ah-Sun), passed away on Monday morning (Apr 6) because of breast cancer. She was 34.

Sharing one of her hit songs below, “Leaf”, released in 2003. I’ve always love her singing; she will be missed, rest in peace…
