The music video of “Eat You Up”, the English song that supposedly marks Korean pop star BoA’s US debut, has finally been released.

This MV was meant for the Korean (and Asian) audiences, with another MV targetting US market instead. There is however some changes of plans in midway; not sure if the heavily criticised US version would be released or not.

Update - the US version is also released; embedded further below.

Well, I shall refrain myself from commenting about this song anymore; I think I’ve talked enough since her American project was announced last month. So, best of luck for BoA; and here it is, both Asian and US music videos of Eat You Up…

Korean pop star BoA’s American debut song “Eat You Up” is leaked on MySpace. The song was uploaded on a MySpace account, but I believe that it’s not an official account for a few reasons.

The major clue is that the account cited BoA is from Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) instead of Republic of Korea (South Korea). Well, it’s either a fake account, or the webmaster of BoA’s online campaign deserves a big smack.

Anyhow, it seems like SM Entertainment is not making much noise about it… testing the online responses perhaps? Update - the full music video is out.

Hollywood legend Paul Leonard Newman passed away on Friday (Sept 26) at the age of 83 from complications of lung cancer.

Besides his illustrious acting career, Newman was also a philanthropist. He co-founded food company Newman’s Own in 1982, from which he donated all his profits (over $250 million) to charity.

Below is a tribute video to Paul by Newman’s Own Foundation; rest in peace…

Hong Kong actor-director Stephen Chow is going to direct and star in the movie version of “The Green Hornet”, announced Columbia Pictures.

Canadian comedian Seth Rogen will co-write the movie and star as the main character; and Stephen Chow will star as Kato, Green Hornet’s sidekick which was played by legendary martial arts star Bruce Lee in the TV adaptation in 1960s.

It’s said that the movie will be more comedic than the original versions (comic, radio and TV)… but I have doubts over the making of this movie regardless. It just doesn’t click for me, and I don’t think the young generations could relate to the characters.

The Green Hornet is scheduled to premier in Summer 2010.

Forbes has compiled a list of Hollywood’s best and worst movie stars according to the return on investment vs the money they are paid. I’m not going into details on the criterias and figures, heading straight to the list instead…
