A Malaysian state is scrambling to find ways to improve sexual relations, as the divorce rate in the state is rising in an alarming rate. There’s at least three in every ten marriages registered in the Terengganu state that ended in divorce.

Boring sex and smelly body odour were said to be the main reasons behind the break up among young folks; thus the state is thinking of inviting cosmetic firms to introduce exotic and sensuous fragrances which can arouse sexual ardour.

Earlier last month there’s also suggestions that couples on the brink of divorce to be offered free honeymoon packages to rekindle their romance.

This is turning into an interesting series; note that Terengganu is one of the most conservative states in the country… wonder what is coming next lol.

The aircraft made an emergency diversion to Kuala Lumpur when the mother went into labour, but the baby was smart enough to pop out before the plane landed, thanks to the great assist by Dr. Ronald who happened to be on board.

The mother will enjoy the same free flights for life as well; wonder if there’s any bonus for the doctor though… guess not.

Congrats to the mummy & baby; and a pat on the back for Dr. Ronald :)

After the highly popular life-size 18-metre Gundam model in Tokyo, another giant Japanese robot statue, the Tetsujin 28-go (lit. Iron Man #28), is set to welcome its visitors in Kobe following its completion earlier this week.

Tetsujin 28 was created in 1956 by Kobe-born Mitsuteru Yokoyama; it was one of the earliest giant robot characters in Japanese manga. The comic was later adapted into anime series and was aired in US as well, retitled as the Gigantor.

The Tetsujin 28 statue is located at Kobe’s Wakamatsu Park. It’s similar in height with the Gundam statue, but doesn’t have moving parts like the Tokyo counterpart. The Kobe robot is built as a permanent structure though, whereas the Gundam was disassembled after two months of exhibition.

If the trend keeps going, we might be seeing dozens of giant robot models across Japan in future… pretty fitting tourist attraction for the #1 robotic nation lol.

Japanese horror story writer Koji Suzuki has teamed up with Hayashi Paper to publish his latest work, “Drop”, on toilet papers.

Suzuki is famed for horror stories like “Ring” and “Dark Water” which were adapted into Japanese and Hollywood films.

Drop is set in a public restroom; the story uses up about three feet of a roll and can be read in just a few minutes. The paper roll sells for 210 yen ($2.20 USD) apiece [via Brb]

Printing on toilet papers is nothing new in Japan, but it’s probably a first for horror story. It could prove an unexpected hit with constipation a common issue among Japanese; it might just scare the shit out of the folks.

Shoichi Nakagawa resigned on Tuesday (Feb 17) as Japan’s Finance Minister following his embarrassing behaviour at a news conference during the G7 meeting in Rome…

Nakagawa was slurring his words and appeared to be out of focus; he later apologised for his behaviour, but denied he was drunk and attributed the situation to overdosed of cold medicine instead (which is later revealed as a possible combo of both)… obviously the apology and explanation were not enough to save his job.
