Taiwanese guy Lin Yu-Chun has rose to internet fame lately with a video of his performance in popular singing competition show Super Star Avenue, singing Whitney’s Houston (and Dolly Parton’s) I Will Always Love You…
The vid is from an earlier round which he obviously owned the crowd. He couldn’t keep up the consistency though and was eliminated in a later round.
Lin has attracted plenty of interest from recording firms and oversea media. Some are dubbing him as Taiwan’s Susan Boyle, a Scottish who became an internet sensation last year in similar way. So, don’t be surprised if you see Lin on your local TV show in near future. Oprah?

Whitney Houston songs are all very easy I know many a singer that can sing them as well as her. A guy is a bit odd but when you know he’s Asian its not really.
This video is all over the internet. Got many friends posting it on facebook. For me, it’s not really that good considering his pitching problem and all. But a guy singing a Withney Houston certainly draws interest and attention.
