Hong Kong Disneyland is located on a reclaimed land in Lantau Island and opened to visitors since September 2005. The theme park is part of Disneyland Resort which also consist of 2 hotels and the Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre.
Disneyland was the highlight of our Hong Kong tour. My eldest sister was the only one who had visited a Disney theme park (Tokyo’s Disneyland) prior to this visit, so it should be a wonderful experience especially for my 2-year-old niece.
The theme park opened on 10am; we got there a bit earlier via a shuttle bus from Hollywood Hotel, which is just minutes away from the theme park.

Ocean Park Hong Kong (香港海洋公園) was opened in 1977 and located at the south of Hong Kong Island. The park is easily accessible with public transportation… we went there by bus from the Star Ferry’s Central Pier on our 2nd day in Hong Kong.
It was a weekend, and mainland China was celebration their week long holiday to celebrate National Day… so the park was really crowded.

Park of Versailles is one of the largest formal gardens ever created.
The main attraction of the park is probably the variety of fountains that runs during weekends and some special holidays. My visit was on Tuesday unfortunately.

St James’s Park is the oldest of the Royal Parks in London. It is located just beside Buckingham Palace, and connected to Green Park. I am not sure the border that separated the parks though; I simply assume that Green Park is part of St James’s Park.
St James’s Park has a small lake, the St James’s Park Lake… and with 2 islands, the Duck Island and West Island. A bridge across the lake provides some nice views of around the area.
