Volkswagen foldable electric bicycle

The pedal-free electric bike is designed to fold up and fit in the spare tyre compartment. The bike is capable of 12.5 miles on a full charge with a top speed of 12.5 mph, and is designed to draw a charge from the car itself.

And this is not just a concept vehicle – the bikes will be produced and marketed in foreseeable future. Video below shows the electric bike in action…
