Cemoro, or Cemara, literally means pine/fir/casuarina in Indonesian; in this case it’s probably referring to casuarina which is native to this geographical region. There’s relatively plentiful of casuarina trees here; seemed like casuarina and spring onions were the only plants that grew well in this volcanic area.
