Alicia began her professional acting career by appearing in Swedish short films and television series. She made her feature film debut in 2010 in Pure, which won her the Guldbagge Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. The Guldbagge is the Swedish equivalent of the American Oscars.
Alicia starred as a queen in acclaimed Danish movie A Royal Affair and also as a princess in British film Anna Karenina in 2012. She appeared in The Fifth Estate last month, which I think is her first appearance in an American production; the film performed poorly at the box office though.
