Chinese New Year celebrations in London

Posted on February 20, 2015 - Topics: Lifestyle

Video of Chinese New Year celebrations in London in 2014, with various events e.g. lion dance, dragon dance, music performance and other traditional shows.

In the “real” Chinese cities most people celebrate Chinese New Year with their family at home, a CNY festival of this scale is actually uncommon. In fact, some places like Kuala Lumpur are usually quite empty during this period as many have travelled back to hometown or vacationing somewhere else. Happy Lunar New Year.
