Fabio Cannavaro Japanese samurai tattoo

Posted on September 14, 2014 - Topics: General

A little throwback, Italian soccer star Fabio Cannavaro on the cover of Vanity Fair Italia [It] in May 2006. What caught my eye is the Japanese samurai warrior tattoo, which actually looks cute and a contrast to his muscular body.

Speaking of 2006, Cannavaro captained the Italian national team that won the World Cup in Germany a few months after the magazine is published. He was later named as FIFA World Player of The Year and also won the Ballon d’Or.
