A group of photographers led by Chen Haiwen took a year to explore various corner of China to complete this photo collection of the country’s 56 officially recognised ethnic groups in their traditional costumes…

Note that the people are not necessary from the same family, but neighbours from the same ethnic group of different ages taking family style photos. Some of the costumes are rarely donned by the folks these days and could soon become museum materials, so it’s a pretty precious record.
