Hong Kong police & taxi

October 25, 2007 by Yein Jee

Saw a traffic policeman on duty in the morning (October 6), just outside of our hotel. I guess he was giving a ticket to the taxi driver for illegal parking. Those who are familiar with Hong Kong dramas should be pretty familiar with this lol.

Hong Kong police and taxi

Hong Kong policemen were plentiful; we saw them quite often in various places. Hong Kong streets should be quite safe and peaceful.

The taxis were quite a scene too… it’s visible at every corner of the main streets. And Hong Kong taxis are not as expensive as we thought. If you are travelling in a group of three to four people, don’t be afraid to block a taxi if needed.
