Korean drama series Athena, spin-off of last year’s award winning spy-action flick IRIS, has started filming. Some promotional stills of the main cast – i.e. Jung Woo-sung, Su Ae, Cha Seung-won, Lee Ji-ah, Kim Min-jong and Choi Si-won – have been released to kick start the hype.

Athena is about a Korean secret agency. The drama will start off with an operation to rescue the President’s daughter (Lee Bo-young cameo) who was kidnapped. The show will premier in November 2010 on SBS.
