38th day in South Korea. My sister has left Seoul just hours ago; she was here for a week of holiday. So here I am, all alone again lol.
A little gift from Malaysia – Bakkwa, or dried meat, something similar to jerky. Popular Chinese new year gift in my home country; yummylicious stuff…
Took a trip to Suwon on Wednesday; photo taken during the shuttle bus ride to the Korean Folk Village from Suwon Station. More Suwon stories later.
Dolsot bibimbap encore
Visited the not-sure-what-name restaurant in Myeongdong again. My sister’s first meal in Korea, and she was pretty happy about it…
It’s still snowing every few days; odd weather… wonder when the winter is actually going to end. Hopefully it won’t affect the cherry blossoms by April.

The wooden part of the gate was severely damaged by arson in 2008 and is now under reconstruction; the whole structure is covered during the period…
Bosingak, a historical bell pavilion on Jongno (lit. bell street). The place is not opened for public, and the bell is rung only once a year on New Year’s Eve.
Quiet Sunday. Lots of the Seoul folks were travelling back to their home village during Korean New Year; it’s unusually quiet on the streets during those days…
