Record flying fish flight caught on video

A TV crew in Kagoshima, Japan, has filmed what they believed to be the longest recorded flight of a flying fish – an amazing a 45-second glide.

Flying fish rely on their long, wing-like fins to enable gliding flight for considerable distances above the water’s surface… most of the time to avoid predators.
