Taiwanese pop group S.H.E member Selina and Chinese actor-singer Yu Haoming were injured on Friday when filming a new drama in Shanghai.
The stars were injured while filming an explosive scene but something went wrong and the explosion was triggered sooner than expected.
Selina suffered third degree burns (result in scarring and require skin grafting) mostly on her limbs, which is bad enough but not as serious as rumoured earlier (of 50% body surface burn). Her co-star Yu Haoming’s injury is more severe with 35-40% body surface suffering third degree burns.
[Update] Unfortunately the earlier rumours are proven to be right… Selina’s injury is as bad as it’s initially reported (50% body surface burn).
Both of them are in ICU but is said to be doing ok. Get well soon.
