Katy Kung at Jason and Sarah’s wedding

Hong Kong celebrity couple Jason Chan and Sarah Song got married in England on September 19. Both of them work with broadcaster TVB – Jason is an actor while Sarah a host in news and variety programs. Many of their colleagues attended the wedding, and I find this photo really likeable…

In the middle is Katy Kung, who attended the ceremony as a groomsmaid. She starred as Jason’s sister in Be Home for Dinner, a modern sitcom series. She is also a good friend of the bride.

The groom was born in London, so I presume they held the wedding near the city for that reason. Most celebrities hold multiple ceremonies and banquets for their marriage these days, bet they will have celebrations in Hong Kong too. Congrats, and have a life of love and happiness.

Asha Gill – MaxisOne Plan Malaysian commercial

British born TV host Asha Gill in a commercial for Maxis, a communications service provider in Malaysia. Posting this video mainly because of the endorser, more on her later.

The advert digs at Maxis’s competitors that offer various packages which are sometimes confusing for consumers (me included). On contrary the company is introducing the “simple” MaxisOne plan instead.

Naomi’s mother is of Indian Gujarati descent while her father an English. The 21-year-old has starred in a few Disney TV shows since 2008, such as Life Bites and Lemonade Mouth etc. She also starred in scifi drama series Terra Nova which was cancelled after just a season in 2011.
