Daesung from popular Korean pop group BigBang is currently under investigation for his involvement in a fatal road accident.
The 22-year-old singer ran over a motorcyclist who was lying on the road at 1:30 am on Tuesday, before ramming on a parked taxi. According to the taxi driver (who stopped his cab to check on the motorcyclist), the motorcyclist was already on the ground before Daesung hit him.
The police is now trying to determine why the motorcyclist was there of if he was still alive before the crash. To Daesung’s defence it’s a freak accident; the problem is that he was speeding (80km/h on 60km/h road), so he might be in trouble depending on the outcome of the investigation.
