Our visit at Hong Kong Disneyland. It happened to be Halloween season, and the resort had featured plenty of Halloween settings alongside its “traditional” stuff.
Leisure & Recreation
Ocean Park Hong Kong
Ocean Park Hong Kong (香港海洋公園) was opened in 1977 and located at the southern part of Hong Kong Island. It happened to be a huge holiday for mainland Chinese during our visit, thus the park was really crowded.
Shanghai ice bar
A new bar has opened in Shanghai, China, with its interior decoration and tools (including the cups) all made of ice…
The room temperature of the ice bar is kept at -5°C to prevent the ice from melting, and the interior has to be overhauled every six months as maintenance.
Oxygen water bar
H2OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! A Japanese bar is selling water… with lots of oxygen.
Aren’t we supposed to breath in oxygen, and not drinking it? [via Kirai]
Pole dance classes are hot in Shanghai
Pole dancing is the latest fad among youngsters in Shanghai, China. It’s said that the sexy gymnastic can improve muscular endurance and coordination.
Amazing how things are rapidly changing in Asia… a few years back pole dancing was almost synonymous to strippers, but it’s becoming something trendy now.
My visit to Zoo Negara Malaysia
A visit to Malaysia’s Zoo Negara (National Zoo) earlier this month. It was our king’s birthday and a public holiday; my sister (with hubby and kids) from the northern state of Penang took the chance to visit us in Kuala Lumpur… and the zoo seemed like the perfect place for family outing, especially with a bunch of children.
