The HK Film Awards Association [Cn] has released photos of the main nominees of the 2014 awards which will be presented at Hong Kong Cultural Centre on April 13. The images will feature in a special publication for the gala event.

[Update] The main winners include The Grandmaster (film), Zhang Ziyi (actress), Nick Cheung (actor), Kara Hui (supporting actress), Max Zhang (supporting actor), Wong Kar Wai (director) and Babyjohn Choi (newcomer). Congratulations.

46th Golden Horse Awards (2009)

Taiwanese film No Puedo Vivir Sin Ti (lit. I Can’t Live Without You in Spanish) was the biggest winner at the prestigious 46th Golden Horse Awards on Saturday night in Taipei. It’s the first local movie to win the best picture in seven years; and director Leon Dai also begged the personal award.

Hot favourite Li Bingbing was crowned the best actress; while Huang Bo and Nick Cheung were both named as best actor(s), a first in the award history. Full winning list after some red carpet and winners’ pics…

Red Cliff won the most awards (five), but The Way We Are is arguably the biggest winner by claiming the best director, the best actress and two other gongs. Ip Man has the last laugh though by bagging the best film title.
