g.o.d Sky Blue Promise music video

Korean MV for Sky Blue Promise by pop group g.o.d (acronym for Groove Over Dose), from the group’s eight album, Chapter 8, due to release later this month.

g.o.d made their debut in 1999 and disbanded in 2006; they were immensely popular. All the five members are still active in showbiz and reunited for this special album (and concerts) to celebrate the group’s 15th anniversary.

Dragonball Evolution movie trailer

Movie trailer of “Dragonball Evolution”, a Hollywood live adaptation of the popular Japanese anime-manga which is going to premier in March 2009… [via Japanprobe]

From a neutral point of view, the trailer doesn’t look too bad for those who don’t have much clue about the original Dragon Ball… but the DB’s fans are likely to hate this trailer/movie; it just couldn’t reflect the essence of the original work.

Mach Go! Go! Go! aka Speed Racer

Mach Go! Go! Go! is a 1960’s Japanese anime which is aired in US as well under the title Speed Racer. A live action film adaptation of Speed Racer, directed by the Wachowski brothers of Matrix fame, is set to premiere in May 2008.

I’m thankful that Warner Bros have arranged an interview with Rain, a Korean pop star who’s making his Hollywood debut in the live action movie, but I’m not feeling good about the movie adaptation to be honest. It looks way too cartoonish, which I’m not sure if it’s a good thing. It might appeal to teenage or younger generation, but it’s probably a bit too much for me.
