Korean female pop group So Nyuh Shi Dae – aka Girls’ Generation, or SNSD as abbreviated – have released their debut single Into The New World on August 2, 2007. The group is managed by SM Entertainment, one of the biggest talent management agencies in Korea; expectations are high on these teenagers.

Hyuna from Korean pop group Wonder Girls is leaving the group due to health reason.
It’s reported that her parents have decided to pull her out of the group concerning her poor health, which is probably caused by her hectic schedule.
The girls’ management agency JYP Entertainment is expected to announce a replacement shortly. I’m not sure if Hyuna is quitting the group or from the company altogether though. Best wishes regardless.

The fans of Leeteuk from Korean boy band Super Junior and fans of figure skating star Kim Yu-na are caught in a blog war after a recent miscommunication.
It all started when Lee mentioned in a radio show that his request to exchange blogroll with Kim was rejected by the 16-year-old figure skating star. Lee’s fans began sending hate messages on Kim’s blog shortly after, and Kim’s fans retaliate. As of the time of writing, the message board for both SuJu and Kim has been shut down temporarily.
SuJu’s fans are giving themselves a bad name really. Just a month ago, some of the fans posted hatred message to a girl after a picture of her posing with one of Suju’s group members was spread online… the girl was so depressed with all the harassment that she finally committed suicide.
Seems like they haven’t learned a lesson from that.
Korean comedian Park Kyung-rim got married at Seoul’s Shilla Hotel on Sunday. The 29-year-old bride met her husband (28) who was a participant at a match-making show which she hosted in 2006. A bit of fairy tale ain’t so?
