Haiti earthquake 2010
A massive earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010. Death toll estimates range from 100,000 to about 160,000. Beside homes, the quake also destroyed many infrastructures including hospitals, transports and power network.
It’s the single largest catastrophe to hit the Caribbean Sea country in centuries.

Won Bin shows love in Gambia with UNICEF
Korean actor Won Bin stayed over a week in the African nation of Gambia in April with UNICEF. The 32-year-old star works with the organisation since 2007.
UNICEF is a United Nation humanitarian program providing help to children and mothers in developing countries. Official website here.
Meanwhile, Gambia is the smallest country in mainland Africa. In 2008 about a third of the population lived below the international poverty line of US$1.25.
