French fries coated hot dog in Seoul, South Korea

It’s a common street food in Seoul, most often seen at night markets; had mine at Dongdaemun area. You can’t go wrong with sausages and fries; it’s always good.

Dinner on Feb 14, octopus hotpot at a restaurant in Jongno. Most restaurants were closed because of Korean New Year; the food alley near the area was one of the very few places which were in operation.

Burmurry Seoul restaurant, South Korea

February 9, 2010 by Yein Jee

Burmurry is a franchise in Seoul selling traditional Korean food, i.e. tteokbokki, odeng, sundae etc. There’s a branch nearby my hostel which I frequent…

Teokbokki and fried dumplings at Burmurry Seoul restaurant

I like their teokbokki. The rice cake is standard stuff, and it’s a matter of different spiciness and sweetness with the sauce, in which their version fits my taste.

The restaurant also sells fried dumplings and twigim aka batter-dipped-fried-stuff (squid, shrimp, vege etc.). It’s tempting to have some oily food once in a while lol.
