Wong Tai Sin Temple, Hong Kong

Posted on October 13, 2007 - Topics: HKG 2007 Trip

Wong Tai Sin Temple (黃大仙祠), a famous taoist temple in Hong Kong, was the first tourist spot we visited during our trip. The place of worship is often mentioned on various Hong Kong tourism guide.

The temple was closing soon (closed at 5.30pm) when we arrived; that’s probably why it wasn’t as crowded as expected. There’s nothing grand about the temple’s architecture, it’s probably more of a cultural symbol instead.
