Giant rubber duck deflates in Hong Kong

The famous giant rubber duck, a creation by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, has mysteriously deflated during its current trip in Hong Kong. The ducky was supposed to stay until June; the organiser of the exhibition is working to bring it back up.

The duck (a different one with different size most of the time) has travelled places since 2007 and could be seen in France, Brazil, New Zealand, Belgium, Japan, Australia, Germany and the Netherlands etc. AFAIK this is the first time such “tragedy” has happened. Photos of the duck when it arrived in Hong Kong earlier this month…

It never looked this huge :)

Whether it’s art or not is up to personal interpretation, the word is so vague.
