K-pop group the Wonder Girls made their first US TV appearance on the Wendy Williams Show; also catch their performances at Jonas’s New York concert.
Back in Korea, Brown Eyed Girls released a controversial MV for “Abracadabra”; while rock legend Seo Taiji released “Morning Snow”. Check out other Asian MVs on my music video collection series [1] & [2].
Other music news… Malaysian pop fans celebrate as the MTV Asia Awards is back to Malaysia again, presumably.
Photoshoots… Korean pop group 2PM on Ceci magazine, while newbie T-ara released some promotional pics for upcoming album. Chinese actress Li Bingbing posed for InStyle; and Japanese actress Aya Ueto in aodai (pic), a traditional Vietnamese dress.
Other commercial photoshoots include Korean singer Lee Hyori for Chum Churum and Son Dambi for Bean Pole. Also sharing a few wallpapers from SNSD for Viliv portable media player, and Taiwanese pop group S.H.E for Luna Online.
Movie review… award winning Japanese film “Departures”. Other movie news… Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao and pop singer Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls are set to star in a Filipino film.
